Hawkwood is strategically bounded by Country Hills Boulevard in the north, Sarcee Trail in the east, John Laurie Boulevard in the south, and Nose Hill Drive in the west. Spanning an area of 3.2 km² (1.2 sq mi), the neighbourhood sits at an elevation of 1,230 m (4,040 ft).

Historical Background

Established in 1981, Hawkwood takes its name from a dairy farming family who migrated to Alberta from England in 1913. The community has since developed into a vibrant residential area, housing a diverse population.
