Spanning an area of 1.1 km² and positioned at an elevation of 1,210 meters, Christie Park offers stunning views and a peaceful environment. The community is bounded by Strathcona Drive and the Strathcona Park to the north, providing a natural boundary and green spaces for residents to enjoy. To the east lies Sarcee Trail, ensuring easy connectivity to different parts of the city. The bustling 17 Avenue S is to the south, while 69 Street W forms the western boundary, providing a sense of seclusion from the urban hustle.

Originally annexed to the City of Calgary in 1956 from the Municipal District of Rocky View, Christie Park has developed into a well-established community over the decades.
